Cradle to cradle | Oud maakt nieuw

APRIL 2017 – ‘Oud maakt nieuw’ refers to an old use to make old cloth into new ones, later called Cradle to Cradle. In my youth it was very common to reverse a winter jacket f.e. after a few years. The inside of the coat was turned outside and there was a new coat!
This is how I change old works into new paintings.
